Yale Ventures

The Venture Lab Canvas

As an Associate at Yale Ventures, Jordan helped build the Venture Lab Canvas — a self-paced online video course on the Canvas LMS that helps Yale faculty explore commercializing their research. Universities are increasingly motivated to turn faculty research into companies, but career researchers often lack the time or the business foundation to take that first step. Working as part of the team, Jordan scripted and produced the educational video content and maintained the platform that delivers it. Launched in 2025, the course gives faculty and their research teams a foundational grounding in startup and business concepts — and remains an exclusive Yale Ventures resource for faculty today.

Launch Chapel Hill

Rebuilding an accelerator around its founders

As Program Manager at Launch Chapel Hill, Jordan led a ground-up redesign of the accelerator's curriculum. The previous program moved through standard business topics without meeting its student founders where they actually were — early-stage, exploring ideation, and still building fundamentals. Jordan rebuilt it as a three-week intensive of nine three-hour sessions that starts founders at ideation and carries them through both personal and business growth, with a deliberate focus on expanding each founder's network. He built the entire program — syllabus, session decks, workshops, worksheets, and mentor guides — and ran it with support from the Launch Chapel Hill staff. Launched in summer 2025, the curriculum has taken more than 100 students through the program and remains in use today.
